| DR. P. J. BALL AND MISS J. MADGE The marriage took place on Saturday at Holy Trinity, Forest Row, of Dr. Peter John Ball, only son of Mrs. J. H. Ball, of 11, Nevill Park, Tunbridge Wells, and Miss June Madge, twin daughter of Lady Madge and the late Sir Frank Madge, of Brambletye Gate, East Grinstead. The Rev. H. J. Theodosius and the Rev. A. G. Fagg took part in the service. The bride who was given away by Mr. W. Hoare-Ward, wore a gown of white French wild silk. Her short white tulle veil was held in place by a satin and pearl coronet and she carried a bouquet of mixed white flowers. She was attended by a child bridesmaid, Carol Anne Shaw, and two older bridesmaids, Miss Gillian Madge (sister of the bride) and Miss Joy Bowen. They all wore blue and white broderie Anglaise dresses and headdresses of blue flowers and carried bouquets of mixed flowers. Dr. W. E. Waters was best man. A reception was held at the home of the bride and the honeymoon will be spent abroad. |
